About Helena

​Helena Wood is the owner & operator of Mosaic Management Events. She has worked in hospitality her whole working career and always knew she wanted to start a business in events & hospitality. 

​She obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Calgary from Mount Royal University with a major in Management. During her time in Calgary, she gained event management experience coordinating Calgary Stampede parties and large corporate receptions. 

Helena is from PEI and spent her summers growing up at her family cottage in Fortune. She moved home in 2018 and a year later started Mosaic.

She is familiar with the Island and what it has to offer. 
She is passionate about working with other small businesses and Island events that promote our incredible community and culture in PEI & the East Coast. 

Helena has partnered with local companies to do their events and consulting.

​Unpacked is Charlottetown’s first package free store. The store will sell many products from groceries to household cleaners, all in reusable or zero waste packaging. Mosaic will be working with the company on fundraisers and the grand opening launch event, and public workshops.

​Mosaic and Gocanna have partnered to do cannabis events across Prince Edward Island. The next event for Gocanna is the ACExpo happing on May 16th, 2020 in Charlottetown. ​
